2015-2016, Líbeznice
In some municipalities, it was not possible to build a Sokol hall during the First Republic. Líbeznice was one of them, but in 2016, this debt to the citizens was repaid. The building was initially intended to serve a primarily sports function. However, immediately after its opening, it began to accommodate a much wider range of social activities, from sports to concerts and ceremonies. Unintentionally, it became a community cultural and sports center. The characteristic of the design is simplicity. The formal austerity expresses a building that is not afraid to stand independently. The layout is free of stairs and elevators, and the internal environment's technology is based on natural air ventilation and natural lighting. The structure is wooden, made from a tactile material, so that the landing of this "Moby Dick" in the center of the village is as gentle as possible.
